Hydroponic Assembly PhotosEducation_Field/Education_Field.html

Gardens Under Glass welcomes BioDynamicz Hydroponic Greenhouse Supply to the Galleria.  As they continue to expand their retail presence, our class schedule has been delayed while we plant, harvest and prepare our produce and herbs for market.  Please follow us on Facebook as we share garden tips, ways to achieve healthy eating, growing your own food, sharing recipes and sustainability initiatives that will help you save money and lower your carbon foot print.

At the Sustainable Cleveland 2019 event held in September there was interest in starting a Menu for the Future Conversation group. Menu for the Future is a discussion course from the Northwest Institute to further community dialogue about food choices and food systems. The idea is to have a series of citywide groups participating in this 6 week course held much like a book club, meeting for about 1 - 1 1/2 hrs each week. You can find more information about it here: http://www.nwei.org/discussion_courses/course-offerings/menu-for-the-future.

Gardens Under Glass will be hosting a group in 2012 at the Resource Center Feb 6, 2012.  There are 15 groups city wide that will begin late January- February throughout Cleveland. The lead organizer of Menu for the Future would like one farmer to be part of every group for a new perspective to the group members. Carl Skalak owner of Blue Pike Farm will be representing our group.  The farmer can participate in the full 6 weeks if they'd like, or just make it to a couple meetings.
